If you're wondering what our logos mean, you've come to the right place.

We are a fully accredited four star bed and breakfast as inspected by the approved inspectors of Enjoy England, the National Tourist Board. This is the maximum rating we could hope to achieve bearing in mind the size of the property and it's location.

 

We're rightly proud of our four stars, of course, but our Environmental Quality Mark is something that does make us puff out our chests with pride! Awarded by the Peak District National Park Authority to businesses who work hard to ensure their environmental impact is as small as possible. No-one has a zero impact and we are far from perfect but we're doing our best. Our environmental statement is here.

The Walker and Cyclists friendly logos show our commitment to serving the particular needs of both walkers and cyclists. We can store your bikes safely, provide you with equipment to clean your bike and boots and help you get your wet gear dry. If you have a specific need, then please don't hesitate to contact us.

Food is a passion of ours, which is why we felt it important to help champion local food producers through the Peak Cuisine Scheme. Not only does it taste better, but the food miles bringing it to your plate is considerably reduced too.
